Those of you feverishly taking notes will recall that I have been bereft of a good brownie recipe. That sad fate is no more, since I found Alton Brown’s brownies, made with cocoa powder. They are oh my word so good: fudgy, rich, chewy, and crumbly. I have two changes: I cut the butter by half (because my hand just won’t), and I add chopped, toasted walnuts.
